the w58 i would say is the smaller brother to the r154 and should be cheaper...
r154 you need a 1jz 5speed bellhousing to fit onto the 2jz and the w58 you can find from any non turbo 2jz
i went through this before myself... although im sure everyone can
$4,500 at a pawn shop advertised on a main street here in denver. i drove by a few times and figured hey why not lets try it. so i bring a friend with me, i have him take me in his car and we get into the supra, it was red...
its for serious race engines where nothing is pretty
seriously though, when i saw the tms celica nothing was pretty under the shell... but man that car was fast....
heh right as i read that i remember a few years ago my friend bought a cold air intake for his civic, it didnt have a filter on and he put his hand on the tube the filter was supposed to be on and it sucked his hand in and he pulled it out bleeding.:biglaugh:
i think i need a picture of what...
yeah dirty old dino oil in your seals... will seal the worn seals hehe... when i switched to syn i had to change rear main seal, valve covers, turbo oil lines
i was surprised myself but no biggie they really did need to be replaced
from what i can tell off of that it lowers the pressure once inside , and keeps the pressure in the rest of the manifold the same
some flow test results might help :) i still like what he has made
you know i have never really seen velocity stacks in an intake manifold myself, im sure there could be a way around that though if he redesigned the inside~
they would have been sweet with my 1uz though..
