Don't cap off your bypass valve. If you think it has a boost leak, then check for it, but you're not throwing codes right? Do you still have the original cats on it?
Hell, just by the looks of it I though they threw the head or the intake manifold through the hatch ;). if it's around $400 then it's probably a decent deal.

You should look on their website at what china's churning out for copies now... It's getting damn hard to tell the difference between the real deal and a fake. Hell, even the fakes are cast with the Tial logo!
Looks like they make a nice piece to be used as a stock replacement. Doesn't say how much psi it can handle, but I bet it's up to par (most likely better) than any of the bosc replacements. And they are 88.50 pounds, so, what? 160.00 usd?
ANY metal head gasket must have a flat, smooth surface for BOTH mating areas (head and block) They must also be smooth enough to seal, most manufactures don't go any lower than an RA spec of 20, so 15 is playing it safe. The smoother the surface the better the seal when it comes to a MHG.
