    Overheating issues

Lol it was, but now I realize it was never overheating in the first place. On to the next issue... I will put the gauges back on this summer, I can't remember the readings I got last summer, I will have to dig through some posts on the AC forums. My gauges don't have any shut off valves at the...

Cooking help for the noob on the go

So I have been trying to get more into cooking lately because I am sick of eating out, it is expensive, and most things fast and easy are not very healthy. My biggest issue is my lack of knowledge and skill when it comes to cooking, but that can be fixed in time. The second issue is the amount...

    Overheating issues

You mean like reading pressure and comparing to a chart? That is true, i know that a truck is going to have a much bigger condenser and evaporator and everything, but if the claims are true, there are people running supra ac systems in Texas/Florida summer heat with no issue down into the low...

    Overheating issues

Do you have a recommendation of how to best measure the condenser outlet temp? I was never able to get a good reading when i was trying to figure out either my sub cooling/superheat. How far after the condenser should it be measured, I was thinking at the liquid line going into the firewall(also...

    Overheating issues

Trust me i have been battling with this forever. Every shroud/undercover is in place, brand new Tundra fan clutch, stock dual electric fans, strait fins on condenser and radiator, entire system flushed, all new seals, new compressor, new txv, new drier, new hoses, fresh R12 charge, everything...

    Overheating issues

I like things on my car to work as they should from the factory, and as far as i know, they never issued a warning upon purchase that stated AC will not function properly in Arizona during the summer. :)

Mhg doesn't seem to fit right

I think you are refering to a 1j or 2j head gasket, Ive never seen a 7m gasket like that.

    Turbo Timer.

If you are using a decent oil and on the stock ct 26 a turbo timer seems pretty useless IMO. Unless you are doing a hard boost run and then coming to a stop and turning you car off immediately, I just don't see any reason. If you drive casually the last mile or two before you reach your...

    Overheating issues

Now that you mention it you are right. When things started getting hot the ac was kicking on and off from high side pressures being too high and wasn't cooling very well at all anymore. Apparently the stock fan pulls more air than any electric could but its still not enough for idling in the...

Maft Pro .bin, .xdf, adx files needed

http://fullthrottletech.com/showthread.php?t=3938 Thats everything you need! You don't need a bin, just go to file>save bin as and there is your bin. Every time you update something using tunerpro, just save the bin (you can set it to save automatically, and as long as you are emulating, it...

Any tips for Walbro 255 installation on 89 7mgte?

Best tip I can give you is when you go to remove the fuel pressure line, take the banjo bolt off of the fuel filter, and don't try to undo the line where it looks like you should (theres a metal pipe with a fitting you can undo). If you try to undo the metal line you can easy break it because of...

Ebay 7M silicone hose kits or suitable replacement?

Wow that's a cool set! If the quality is good it looks worth it. I see a lot of hoses in there that are definitely custom molded for the 7m like the PCV stuff as well as intercooler pipes.

Bringing window trim back to life.

Looks good I was just thinking about doing something like this but didn't know how to approach it exactly. Do you think the stuff you used will hold up the test of time?

    Overheating issues

Now that summer is approaching again...I just want to confirm- It is OK and perfectly safe for coolant temp to rise above 225-230 degrees Fahrenheit with the engine idling and the A/C on. Yes or no? That is all I need to know...

Oil pressure drops at hot idle

If you are ripping the whole thing apart anyways the oil pump is easy to check. Just a couple clearance measurements and make sure the relief valve is working right. The spring on the relief valve will lose tension over time but that wouldn't explain your sudden drop in oil pressure. Something...
