I guess I am just not understanding what you are getting at, not sure why you have to shake your head at everything, perhaps we are not all extremely brilliant. Just because it is the tech section doesn't mean that we don't have room to learn. You said that metal crap wont reach the oil cooler...
Make sure you check all your clearances before just tossing it together with new std bearings, at least plastigague them. It is still a risk though considering any bearing material that came off the bearings could now be in any/all of the oil passages only to hit the brand new bearings and...
They are bolt on, only thing I had to change was the lug nuts, they use a cone shaped lug nut to center the wheel which is different from stock. Wouldn't be a bad idea to run a hub-centric ring, but I didn't and no problems yet. With the car at my ride height the offset is perfect, if you go...
Nice times! That is pretty ridiculous considering you are pretty much all stock, didn't know that was even possible, you are on street tires with full weight too aren't you? Are you just tuning with a fpr? How do you get your 60fts that low?
The problem is the amount of adjustability in the rears... even with the tube fully bottomed out, the car doesn't sit low enough for some peoples liking, and the only way to lower it further is to lower the perch.
Me gusta? lol.. I have the same coilovers, when I raise my car off the ground, my rear springs are completely loose and the fronts I can rotate. If yours are highly preloaded you aren't going to be able to get as low. You just want to make sure that when you raise the car off the ground that the...
The rears are known for not going all that low, but remember that you can also adjust the spring perch level, just need to make sure that when you have the wheel off the ground the spring isnt completely loose. I cant see the pic from work but I have the same coilovers, the rears don't go all...
lol I did that as well... The engine pulled out of the mounts just fine but I fought with it for a good 30 mins trying to get it in before my friend told me I could just loosen them from the bottom of the subframe....feelsbadman
Please dont try to grab your fan with the engine running unless you want to seriously hurt yourself!
Do some searching on head gasket symptoms and how to test for it (IE block test, leakdown, compression) and see if the symptoms match yours. Fix any obvious problems first (leaking cap etc).
Unfortunately no engine will just drop in; there's a couple wires and hoses you have to hook up, might as well sell the car in that case! Seriously though if you have the ecu/harness to match the year of the car, and the engine mounts to match the year of the car its a direct fit, you can't get...
Does your check engine light come on with the key on engine off (need to make sure the bulb works)? If you had a misfire it would show as lean on your gauge, not rich. The wideband only measures oxygen, not HC's
Sounds normal to me :dunno:

Theres a clip of my NA running, I was concerned about the light clacking you can hear a little bit, but even that wasn't a problem, engine is still running today to my knowledge (sold it).
Boost leak = Rich mixture
Boost leak big enough= Fuel cut
Fuel cut= Injectors turned off
Injectors turned off = O2 in the exhaust = lean reading on gauge
If your check engine light comes on when it cuts out, it is probably fuel cut. Look for intake leaks if that's the case.
There is a reservoir on the master cylinder, make sure it is full. Look for leaks along the line and master/slave cylinder. Fix leaks if you find them, then bleed.
You need to bleed it, there is air in the line. You said it randomly did it to you though, so I would check for leaks. Start at the master cylinder (look under the dash where the pedal push rod goes through, make sure there is no fluid dripping down), then go to the master cylinder in the...
