I you're going through the trouble of new a new manifold. It would be more worth it to just go T4. But there is alot more supporting mods you will need for this route. Stock CT, an upgraded CT, or bolt on turbo will make a huge improvement with the stock mani. over an NA.
I'm the same height and sometime's I find myself playing with it to get comfortable again after long trips.
This happens to me in almost any car though. I've got lower back problems and anything gets painful after I've been stationary for too long.
Wait, so you had an NA, that you swapped a TT 1JZ into?
The way you word it, it seems like you have a NA 1J
Either way the Walbro 255 is a universal application, if you get the kit for the Supra it will work on Turbo or NA.
That clears things up. I was watching this thread thinking "Someone must have raped the fuel lines on his car" then doubting myself thinking if there were an easy way to do this I'm gonna be pissed I missed it. lol
I dropped the tank with that line still attached, the rubber line gave me some moving room but it must have twisted alittle bit when I was trying to remove the hanger from the tank, which requires some moving around to get the oddly shapen pickup out. It's not bent bad but I don't want to risk...
I had the same problem this weekend. Mine will not budge no matter what. I soaked it in PB for hours, and tried everything possible with those flare wrenches and I felt like any more pressure would have just snapped the thing. I dropped my tank with it still connected and it slightly bent the...
This is pretty much the same story for me.
My dad held the engine jack when i was pulling it out.
And it scares my mom when I talk about driving it, but she likes the look of it.
I need a new wastegate and I'm stuck between the 38mm and 44mm Tial's.
I'll be running a GT4088, BC 264 cams, and fuel system to support 600whp. I'm mostly concerned is the 38mm going to be too small? I don't want to creep and have to buy the 44mm in the end anyway.
The price difference is...
Semi's in the left lane bothers the shit out of me.
It's supposed to be illegal in my state but I see it all the time.
I understand they're working by miles, and getting stuck behind some slow-ass means they're not getting paid. But the ones that bother me are the one's who don't move back...
