ok everybody I know this has long been dead with zero updates.. but heres the update, I finally got my engine in and its running a few bugs here and there and a low idle but its running. did a couple of test drives near my shop at night and man talk about cool. I just wish I had pics but the...
280 isn't too bad. I drive a 92 accord as a daily driver and man its never let me down. If I drive right I average 360 to nearly 400 miles to the tank. so 280 for a supra to me isn't bad.
Supracentral, you post is as real as it gets.. really now if we all wanted good fuel economy I think it would all be vw diesels running off of Mc'Ds hamburger grease or the hybrid cars. a supra is a supra, so what if you don't get 500 to a tank or some crap like that.
ha, thats cool. I'm a diesel mechanic and theres a new bus turbo sitting in the parts room thats been there forever, I can fit my fist in the inlet. cool find but theres like no way you could use something like that..
my thing is nothings easy... I mean shit if it was we would all be rich and have whatever we wanted. fact is so your going through bullshit now but think about the payoff when its done. just keep at it, you gotta go through the bad before you see the good.

hate to be a dick... but seeing two topics back to back with the titles both in CAPS kinda pisses me off. idk maybe I'm just tired or something... w/e best of luck theciviceater89, I remember when my friend got his mk3 and coolant shot all over the engine bay it ran like shit for like 10 miles.
I remember this one time I was hanging out with these rice cookers that I know.. anyways he left his keys in the car and I figured hell it looks like a huge grocery cart might as well push it around like one. so long story short I was pushing a civic around by its wing while the owner *a huge...
what he said home slice.. look man theres no way around it just get the damn thing rebuilt and be happy with it till you gather the funds for your 1jz swap. but really tho until then just get your ride up to par. after yanking half that brittle crap off I figure at least $1000 to get it street...
