I remember going dukes of hazard on the old company car. it was a 88 ford wagon. anyways the brakes died on me on hw 101 and I assholed some guy. so with that the following friday night I took it out to the field next to the shop which is about 1 mile long flipped it around and punched it. right...
I would put a up close pic with one gone.. but I'm in santa rosa at the moment. when I get back I'll get a close up of one when it comes out. I guess the old owner didn't maintain the engine at all. the amount of rust gunk water that came out when I pulled the water pump was just sick.
I guess I hate the fact that on control arms you have to replace the whole thing just to replace the ball joint. kinda like my honda with the front brakes...

I remember having to replace the inner tie-rods on a newer camry. talk about bitch. ball joints are nothing but those inner boots tend to be somewhat hard if you don't have a lift to get right up to it.
hey believe me they do just blow out. probably improper install to begin with but still I seen it. thats how I got my mk3 so cheap..... also why its still on jack stands. but payday is tomorrow so I'll be able to get whats left to complete it. its a trip how the damn thing just popped out tho.
its a 92. my plans, well right now getting it running is the main focus at the moment. after that I'll go for suspension and brakes. once I have the car itself ready then I'll go back to the engine. the new engine is in very decent condition unlike the old one. never saw a freeze plug just be...
so I guess the best way to start this off is by throwing a few pics up of the parts I have for my build
I went oem clutch and cover plate since I don't really plan on building the motor till I have everything else going first. but as you can see I did order that flashy lightweight...
right now I'm sporting oem toyota. reasons why, cuz I'm building another motor and cant make my mind up on what to get till my other motor is complete.
