Wow..2 pages in one night..so heres my thoughts:
-406 is completly done - built - ready to go in..Im leavin it the way it is.
carb - pan i have about 2000 in this motor, this motor has all forged internals..i could hook a weiand blower on it ..F*ck naws.
- I live in Indiana..No emission...
How bad would this be?..I have an old 406sbc that made 450 hp @wheels in my old trasn am = pretty well built (pulled it back in 03).I also still have the TH350 that was mated to it too.IS this a possible swap first off and "Should" i do it is more of a question i would like opinions on...
So extrude honing vs you "diy'ing" gasket matching the mani to the gasket holes of course are. . . . Cleaner ports ?
And how about grinding down the divider in the middle of the exhaust side..inside the mani?
need pics..or are ya following me?
My end goal is to have a mid 11 sec supra so around the 450-475 mark should do that with traction and supporting cast members.

internals, headwork, bigger turbo/intercooler or just a lil of everything?
*Everything from the blown 7mgte is just...

That was more of a guesstimate. If it goes beyond that then so be it..Im in no big hurry for this project to be up and running.I have other cars to race/drive.
I have heard that indy has a few toyota only shops that i will prolly drive down to and have them do the work.Maybe Boost lee can refer...
Hmm, stroker..Sounds sexy.
Budget..Hmm, in the total rebuild..prolly 1500-2g in the actual engine when im done. But i dont have that much cash on me..Thats how much i'll have after i save for a lil while and do my research.I'll prolly just buy pieces here and there and have an engine...
So long time since ive been back on here..Hmm..Engine pretty much needs a total rebuild, tore it down..Upon tear down i noticed:
-cracked cast manifold
-bhg for sure..parts of the hg werent even there..lol
-3 leaky f.i.'s
-oil feed/oil cooler lines in need of replacement
-broken rod :( due...
