ya i know..but winter is coming and more than anything i want something to do.I go to school and come home..I'm looking forward to building my engine this winter..So if anyone has a good gte block..Im looking =]

i think i'll ditch the n/a cam idea then.
have to get some stock turbo or higher duration cams later.
I'll probably get the n/a motor for the build from the yard if i can't find one in the next week or two. Pulling it in mid November will be no fun. =/

I knew about the head deal..Thats one of the pro's of buying a n/a motor.
And if i had access to a 7mgte long block[Not dissembled] I would just buy that.But Seems like everyone that has a long block for sale tore it apart for some reason.
I found a bone yard with a 87 n/a supra, Is almost better than a 7mgte with having the n/a head.I dont want to have any/much down time.I have all the turbo items i'll need already in my car..the ecu, electronics and so forth.
Shooting for a 500 hp goal.Anyways, other than the turbo oil...
lol..Alright bud.Im a very good Mig short circuit and Axial spray arc Welder but even i would be scared to mess with Tig'ing cast aluminum, The metal is brittle and Tig is an art.
Seth just curious, Do you pre heat and post heat your cast aluminum ?
No.. I in no way have the time or funds to rebuild the motor.
I'll part it and still make out..No worries.I may keep the motor so i dont
have any down time when i build the next supra up.

I dont think its the terminals.
I sanded down the inside of the
battery connections as well as the terminals.
Havent tried the roll start..i thought that
was only for manuals.
No i wish.
i recharged it.
no crank.
took the battery out of my DD celica.
put her in the supra.
no crank..just clicking
im getting very discouraged.

So i put her up on ramps, Checked the connections..Grounds..Etc.
Sanded them down.All good.
Now........................i tried to crank her over.
Nothing..I can now hear the relays clicking.
Not cranking at all.
ideas ??

I can smell fuel in the plug valley
The fuses are all good..
maybe the dizzy is effed..
I'll buy a new cap/rotor and
see if it helps any.
