So far the det3 Is more than what I was expecting. It was super easy to wire up and very user friendly. The Maf to map conversion is literally just a right click on the screen.
I haven't setup timing or boost control yet but I'll do that in the near future. For being a piggyback, I'd say it's...
I was originally using maft pro before the aem. I actually ended up switching from the aem to ecu masters det3 for cost reasons and really all I needed was fuel and timing control. It's only 450 and zach is very helpful!
Wheels are 18x9.5 +12 and 18x10.5 +22. Fenders are rolled with a slight...
I went with the gray one I think they'll have to match the color since it was an extra 9.99. It sure is taking them awhile to get it shipped out though that's for sure.
I usually go through driftmotion and they get their stuff out asap
today i got some stuff done ive been meaning to do all week.
my electric fans were previously wired to stay on all the time when the key was on.. so i junked that setup and did it right with a thermostat, relay, and fuse block.
now that fans actually turn on and off when they are suppose to...
It's built into the input #2. Depending on if you have the 2.5 or 4 bar map sensor you will select in the table setup drop down menu the map sensor you have. I haven't done the Maf to map yet so I'm still learning as well
I rattle canned my mirrors with some duplicolor white and matching clear coat. Just make sure you take some time and sand /prime them before your spray your base coat.
Unless you look real close you can hardly tell they were rattle canned. No paint cracks or anything before I sold the shell
Thanks! Just got it running not too long ago. I have a build thread of my white one I just swapped most everything to this red shell.
You'll definitely see it this year in Vancouver British Columbia if you go to supra nationals!
Drove mine to the end of the road and took a couple pics in the rain. Man it feels good to drive it! Especially with an open downpipe and a loud ass holset turbo spool
I could do a whole writeup on things that I would recommend for 500hp reliably but I just think you cant get that with only 3k. I would save all the money you can, look into the cost of standalones, internals, and supporting mods and reassess your budget. I have around 3k just in building my...
would this be the proper way to wire it to the harness?
i noticed you put igniter NE and NE to ecu. wouldnt the det3 be wired to igniter IGT and ECU NE? im a little confused there but otherwise i think i got it.
im also going straight to map since i was originally using the maft pro i...
