There are two variations of the early 1JZ cam gear covers, besides the stupid sticker.. wtf lol
one that says yamaha on the front in big letters and the one that doesnt. I personally do not have the one that says yamaha on the front. Mine just says toyota. ('92 jza70 out of a TTR)
I'd actually be one of those interested in it just saying 1JZ in the top left hand corner in protruding text, I've been around RB's all my life and always loved how they did that.
Theres one thing I'll never like, the fact that the 2J is practically the same as the 1J other than stroke. Why couldnt they have done a little bore so that it couldve been closer revability wise to the 1J.
Perhaps thats naive, but thats how I've seen it as far as numbers go.
Fluids, bulbs, filters and spark plugs, thats about it.. bought pads once that were by brembo. It all depends though, I understand the point you're trying to make Reap.

Or you could try going on ebay cause theres always some guy selling 1J OE toyota timing belts on there for $30.. you guys really surprise me sometimes lol.
If spool is so important you could always get a GT30 high A/R equivalent.. you'll never know what lag is. Many 1J drivers use them in aussieland.. Personally, I believe that the power potential is a little lower than what I want, but cant argue with the power delivery.
The mk3 is actually not a bad chassis at all for drifting as long as your entry speeds are decent.. Low speed courses, forget it, although I hear BorHor isnt half bad at doing some of the low speed courses as well.

Well if its any consolation there's a video on youtube of the 7m proving it to be a halfway decent grill.. Just an idea if you cant get any money for it.
