its not the cd player.. unless something grounded out there. I'd go back through it and check for damaged wires, bad grounds, something you know. if it worked before it will work again just gotta sort through it.
couldn't be grounding out tho, then it would pop a fuse... hmm. I'd just give it...
yep, thats the fuel line.. umm I believe you need a open end wrench to remove the FPR off the rail then a flared end wrench for the other end going towards the gas tank. wish I could be more helpful on what size and all but its been a while since I had to mess with that.
maybe not even a flared...

thats the link I used to change the lower *easy* one.
but on the cluster again, maybe a central ground is loose or disconnected. never had to mess with mine so I wouldn't know but to check the basics.
the speedo cable is a snap, well if its the lower one. but on the cluster problem. you have the proper fuses in there and not just random ones.. that makes a difference.
slide the PP and the disc onto the input shaft. then once you got the tranny secure to the engine just push it up to the flywheel and begin bolting it up. same torquing sequence like the head, make a few pases then torque to spec.
my first time pulling the engine I didn't know there was a clutch fork. since all my experience up to that point with yanking motors was autos. so long story short I fucked the original pressure plate up by prying the shit between block and bellhousing. it was afterwards that I yanked the fork...
the starter is two extensions and a swivel for the top bolt, a bitch but can be done. the fork, needle nose and a common screwdriver. I had both inspection covers off and popped the clip on the pass side then pulled the bolt and fork from the driver side. its easy after the first time.
