    Another drawback of the studs is you MUST use a thread chaser to clean out all the bolt holes in the block and blow them clean before using studs otherwise they will not thread down far enough.

    You could use an 80mm^2 wire for an ECU signal wire sending millivolts and it would have no adverse affects on the signal. I understand your thinking, but literally bigger is always better as far as conductivity goes.

    Happened on my car too, and I was told to check this spot when it happened, so it is rather common I guess. The problem is that the supporting clips for the harness break and the harness sags and rests right on the hot ass EGR pipe, melting through the insulation and causing it to short out.

    Got it maybe a year ago, it is a genuine TRD. The stickers are still on it but they try to slide off on me in the heat.
