hate to bump an old thread. i have the bic ddp, and have a slight leak as well. you can hear that some of the exhaust is coming out of the dump tube all the time.
as long as it isn't causing a loss of power, i'm ok with it. besides, you can hear the turbo spooling up now so that's cool.. lol
when you put the key in the "on" position, does the engine light come on?
i have an intermittent " no start " problem with my car. check the 30 amp fuse in the under hood fuse box. you might also need the silver relay replaced that's directly above that fuse.
i'm looking for a turbo blanket for my stock ct26. i see there's a few choices in this department. if anyone knows for sure which one fits, please post up.
thanks.................... kevin
yeah, it's pretty damn warm. do you think putting the stock clutch fan and shroud back on will help? the electric one i have doesn't sound too healthy. i'm also thinking about getting a turbo blanket.
not sure if anyone else has had this problem, but i need some advice.
my 90 supra gets VERY hot under the hood. the temp gauge gets to half way and stays there, but the under hood temps are ridiculous. i'm also having a lot of heat coming from the shifter area. it's to the point that it's...
i found some cheaper hub rings for the cobra wheels. i don't think the 70.4 od will be a problem.

it looks like i need some hub centric rings now. after searching this thread, and the wheel fitment thread my head is going to explode.
from what i can gather, the supra has a hub bore of 60.1, and the cobra wheel is 70.5. does anyone know if this is correct? if so, i have found a place that...
ok guys, i now have a question. i'm trying to find hub centric rings to fit the cobra wheels. my search led me to find that the supra hubs are 60.1mm and the cobra wheels are 70.5. if anyone knows this to be true, please let me know.
here's a website that makes custom rings. does anyone...
just got the wheels.. 17x10.5 +27 with 315-35's, and 17x9 +24 with 275-40's. 2003 mustang cobra wheels.
i'm thinking about going 295-35 rears and 255-40 fronts when these wear out
need to decide on a roll-pull or overfenders. then lower it a bit.
here's my contribution to the thread. i think with a roll and pull, i'll be able to lower it to a proper ride height. i might run the 275's out back and put a 235 or 245 up front.
i just put on the wheels i posted. the rears are 17x10.5 +27. they stick out just a touch. i checked the shock clearance, and there's plenty of room. these would be perfect with a little more positive backspacing. i bet +35 to +45 would be perfect.
i'll post pics of it tomorrow.
