    In the mk3 body, it does not matter if it's a 2j or 1j engine. You will need the Camry or Corolla throtle cable. The 2jzgte cable will not fit correctly even if it is the 2jz engine.

    There are 2 cam sensors, unplug the front one then go drive around and see if it still does the same. If it does then replace it with a different one.

    I cant believe nobody see my post in supraforums about the Camry and Corolla throtle cable. The Camry cable is about 1 inch longer than the Corolla cable. The both works much better than the mk4 ones.
