    post pictures of your exhaust!!!!!!!!!

As long as you are using it as you just described, I can dig it. Most people I hear about, however, have something stock or stock-ish when the electric cutout is closed, and then they open it whenever they want to drive aggressively. It seems idiotic to me to switch on the street from weak and...

    HKS Filters suck

I used to swear by the A'PEXi Power Intake, I was one of the first mk3 guys to buy one back in 2000. As a bolt-on air filter, it's one of the best, and the AEM DryFlow looks like it's pretty good as well. However, if you're running a big single with a 4" intake, neither the A'PEXi or the AEM...

    post pictures of your exhaust!!!!!!!!!

Nah it's been discontinued for a while. Other than the usual ones you see advertised, the only JDM HKS exhaust for the A70 that we don't commonly see here is the Legalmax (quiet one with thier new Advantex muffler), which is actually new as of 2 years ago. The only reason I know that they have...

    post pictures of your exhaust!!!!!!!!!

You are right, that's the HKS Magnum. This is listed in the HKS Goodsmaster as a 1G-GTE exhaust, if I remember correctly. All HKS exhaust systems, from the stock-looking 75mm twin tip, the Hiper, Carbon ti, and the Dual Dragger, follow the same philosophy. For their particular performance...

    post pictures of your exhaust!!!!!!!!!

You don't have to walk on faith, it's already been proven. Ryan Delgrosso made I believe 295 rwhp on a 1JZ-GTE with stock boost, just a downpipe and this exhaust (whereas most are making 260-280 with similar configuration). They also made a Dual Dragger for the JZA80, and it's one of the best...

    post pictures of your exhaust!!!!!!!!!

Known in some circles as the HKS Dual Dragger and some as the HKS Dual Evolution, I've confirmed with an HKS guy that they are one and the same. It is actually a JZA70 exhaust, which you can always spot due to it being about 1" shorter than MA70 exhausts (the JZA70 had a slightly longer...

Thanks -- check out the official teal gallery thread, I think I'm one of the only people who posts in it, since there aren't that many teal Supras to begin with. -Ray

    E55 AMG

Uhm, yeah except there's no such thing. Mercedes only has 2 biturbo powerplants, a 5.5L V12 (S600, SL600, and CL600 models from '03+) and the 6.0L V12 (S65, SL65, CL65). CLK was available as 55 (5.4L n/a or 5.5L supercharged depending on year) or currently as 63 (6.2L n/a). Very fast, but any...

    E55 AMG

Yes, got to roll around in an E63 (6.2L n/a) for a while -- it is freak nasty. And the previous E55 is about as fast (5.5L supercharged); it actually has more torque, just longer gears (5 speed instead of 7). The E63 is a hair faster, but they would both beat the crap out of almost everybody...

That's odd, I've never met anyone who wasn't a fan of tint. Mine looks darker in the pic because the sun isn't out yet, but it's 85/15. -Ray

    ***The Teal Supras Thread***

Oh man, months and months of scouring the used market. When I used to work with Mike Urbano, I had the opportunity to buy a couple of them brand new in the box, but alas I didn't have the money at the time for a $1000+ cat-back. So I ended up getting the one off of Aaron G's car (which Jaguar...

Thanks, they are just the typical conservative Eibachs. Can't go much lower without starting scrape things on these f'd up streets and driveways...

    What offset is the best?

My rears are 18x9.5 +30 and I still have the factory splashguards and fenders are not rolled. Mild negative camber (about -1 degree). My fronts are actually too high (18x8.5 +37) and could use a 5mm spacer, but I'm holding off until I install the BBK before putting longer studs. For the...

It's all original... so... 15 years? It's actually produced on July '92, so technically more like 14 and change. More pics! Now featuring HKS dual dragger. -Ray

LOL, all of Stern Wheels are knockoffs. I'm sure you are referring to the Stern ST-1: Decent looking wheel, but mine are the real deal, Work VS-SS. They look similar in pics, but if you see them in person, there's no comparison between a knockoff and a real 3-piece forged wheel. -Ray
