If ever there was a truck I wanted to steal, THIS is it.

Based on the caliber of all the other cars, I would have to assume the car on the bottom front is the new Civic Si.

    Group A's group a rebuild

Looks good man, can't wait to see pictures of the whole dash put together. My car feels more and more inadequate the more I tell her about yours. :biglaugh:

    88T vs 91(?) NSX

They're not that fast, but damn are they sexy. It's almost sad really, but with those looks you expect much more. I've only ever seen one nsx on the road, it was during rush hour so of course we didn't race, he wouldn't have wanted any anyway. Congrats on the kill.

    painting brake pads

I'm assuming you are going to paint the calipers too. Not sure what it would look like since you don't see too much of the pad anyway. You could really get away with only painting the outside one on each wheel. :icon_bigg

    side glass WTF????

^ A glass getter outer. Seriously though, I've seen it referred to a cold knife, or simply a windshield removal tool as seen here: http://www.mytoolstore.com/toolaid/colli04.html It's still a bitch getting through that stuff, I used one to pull the glass out of a demo derby car...

Good luck with whatever you decide. Glad to see your happy to be back with the ct. Are you back to running 13psi, or did you go for more this time?

    12.5@111mph

What were the temps like that day. Great times on the stock turbo. I'm dying to take my car out to the track one more time this year, but like you, I have a dying clutch. Redlining in 4th is fun, you get much faster and your going to have to make an extra shift. :icon_bigg

    race night....street car shootout

I, too, have been amazed at what the stock clutch will hold up to. Mine is on its way out now as well, but it has done a good job of holding up (just barely) to a little over 350whp. Congrats on the numbers and the winnings. I've never been that consistant but I'm getting better. What kind...

when is rod knock not rod knock

When it's ajar........oh wait, nm. Leaking exhaust manifold/gasket. I had mine start leaking this friday, initially it sounded like a random ticking noise from the block, I almost shit myself, now it's just loud. (I'm probably not right.)

Do they make a dual stage boost controller?

What kind of boost controller do you have? I know Greddy has a remote button to toggle between high and low boost settings. Also it can be done with a dual mbc setup with a solenoid. This would allow a hi and low boost setting that might work for you...

ever had your car confused with another?

I love it when people tell you about your own car and they're wrong. I talked to a guy who was convinced I had a mkii and the newer ones were mkiii's, and he was an import owner. You expect it from the domestic guys but whatever. Then their backup is always that they had a friend who used to...

    Project daily driver

I feel your pain everyday, I dd a 95 cavalier 4 door. It's not even a five speed, psh 3-speed auto. What prevents me from doing it, is I know my car will just break and it will have been a waste of money and I'll need another car. Good luck in whatever you decide to do, but yeah, it's...

    maftpro is working

That's a good point, especially in my case, since I have my WB mounted in my test pipe. There is a short delay, maybe 0.1-0.25 sec depending on flow before my WB starts reading the proper AFR. That could get me in trouble if I were trying to tune to the limit. If you targeted a safer ratio...

ever had your car confused with another?

I've had it called a Nissan when I was stopped at the U.S./Canada border. The border patrol guy even gave me shit when I confirmed that he was referring to my car, the Toyota, hell I didn't want to confess to anyone elses stuff. I also had it referred to as a Mazda by the guy in the tower at...

    Turbo lag is way uncool!

I would think that is an abnormal amount of lag for that turbo. Everything else being normal, I would assume you have a wastegate problem. Even with turbos big enough to lag to 5000 rpm, they would be making a hell of alot more than 10psi. Need more info.

Awwwwww, but I just changed to the lex, 550's and safc. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to wait till next year.
