That's amazing top end for a stock ct, especially at 12psi, you must have a healthy car, good show.
I will also be attempting to add another 11.XX to the ct roster this season, we'll have to see how it goes. Good luck.
I'm not sure I want to know everything I dream about, I might find out what a bad person I am. But seriously, the idea sounds sweet, and if it worked it could answer the age old question of whether our dreams hold snipits of the future. (creepy twilight zone sounds)
That just shows you were closer to your potential. If you get the same et with a lower trap, it points to the fact that you are doing it with less power, that's where the 60' comes in, nothing to worry about. If he pulled a 2.1 he would more than likely have in the neighborhood of 13.9 at 101...
I was hoping to get a laugh out of that one. All I meant to say was that after I finish the mods I'm doing to it this spring, there shouldn't be anything left for me to mess with. (wishful thinking) So next winter it will sit peacefully in the garage without being torn apart and will be ready...
Damn, if only that wasn't going down so soon. I swear I'm doin all the doin I'm going to do for this season, that way I can pull the beast out the minute the snow is gone next year.
Cut that 60' to 2.1x and you're there. What rpm are you shifting at? I shift at around 6000, but I have a 60-1, so if you're stock turbo you may benefit from shifting a little earlier than that. Test it out with a couple of runs.
This is just my experience, but I was able to run a 12.7 @110 on a stock clutch. Granted it didn't last too much longer after that, but I think the stock clutch can hold alot more than most people think, as long as you know how to shift and aren't burning it up all the time. I know I didn't...
I'm pretty sure it's random, at least as far as anyone on the outside knows. It's to control the troll population, but who knows the mods time schedule. You basically have to keep trying until you get "lucky".
I would think it wouldn't be an issue since they claimed to be designing a sub 5L v8 or v10 with over 500hp to put in the LF-A.
Edit:
Oh yeah, I also forgot about this, 420hp out of 4.2L, it should be no problem for Toyota.

The Warriors. Even though they made a video game out of it recently, and now it's out for sale again, I thought it was a good movie from back in the day.
