The second pic looks kinda like an oil squirter bolt, but I'm not sure... The first lobes on each cam should be pointing up, but slighty toward each other too.
What? What, "one on the bottom"? If your fan clutch spins a little then stops itself rather quickly then it should be ok, but I'd say it's never been rebuilt and most people's fan clutches could use it as the silicone fluid leaks out over 15 years... I've posted up fixes for this lately and so...
Very interesting indeed. I would rather have six of those oil squirters than six new ones as this one seems to flow (based on the sound) starting around 10 psi and all the way to 80. The others seemed like they stayed closed until 40ish, but some small flow in the lower range. What's your take...
Do the hoses come with metal ends on them when you order your footage? It says the hose ends are AL, so I guess I'll have to make sure how long each section needs to be before I order?
Whew, Just by reading the title of the thread I thought one of us died in the car wreck, I'm glad it was just the car and not Mike that died. It's a shame to see the car go the the graveyard, but better the supra than the supra owner...
You're just taking a gamble by getting someone else's turbos. MDC offers a rebuild for the twins, but hold on to your wallet. If they are boosting fine, keep using them, but beware they may be on their way out. Have you checked the shaft play?
When he was saying speed senor, I was wondering how it tore up as I've never heard on the speed sensor in the cluster messing up. I think he's a little confused. Your speedo is working. Your problem lies elswhere. Check you transmission codes.
