that's why my build is the greatest. it's got dents, scratches, faded paint and a badly cracked dash. between the hood and the drivetrain will be about$4000 worth of go faster materials though :biglaugh:

yeah i was reading today on some bmw forums about using a lightened flywheel in combination with lightened non dampened crank pulley, seems there's alot of horror stories about it causing spun bearings.
i was just gonna cheap out, but those beemer guys seem to swear by using only dampened...
what kind of weight difference is there between the stocker and the ati?
i just shot IJ an message this morning about that exact topic, asking if it would still be beneficial to run a dampened pulley on a zero balanced rotating assembly

the pistons if you're stock i wouldn't worry about... the bearings on the other hand i would stay away from, those are the cheapies. if you get those pistons, make sure you get good bearings
yes this is true... we have air to water after coolers with heat exhangers and pump systems on our cobalts. works great except the end plate needs a dual pass to get the coolant back to the exchanger faster
