It uses about 1 quart per 1.5 month. That is probably about 1800 miles. I have a slow leak where the timing cover meets the block. Either fipg was not put where it should be or the block and timing plate were not machined together. Whichever, it's slow and really only blows out when boosting hard.

Everything seems fine on the way to work today - oil pressure, water temp, a/f, egt, vacuum - all normal :x:

The timing was off. Way off - Advanced - Make sure your CPS bolt is tight! I could only hear it occasionally, at idle. Never while under load while accelerating. When it did happen I tried to determine if it was just the injectors, valves, loose heat shield... Never could quite pin it...

The wiring diagram, in my sig, includes the 87 ecu pinout. Just need to correspond it to the detailed connections.

The ECU gets it's information from the speedometer that is driven by the cable.
