I'll get some pics, lol, It seems like a really simple design, I don't think i'll have much of a problem. The little locking piece where the shafts connect together on the extension housing seems like it might be a little pain. What should i get to Seal it back together? from O'reilly auto...
ok so i'm getting really really mad at my transmission now. I unbolted the shift lever dealio from the tranny then the 9 bolts around the extension housing! shit this is the biggest pain in the ass ever! Do i have to do more crap...i hate this damn transmssion and the Frickin washer isn't...
do you have to replace the whole sleve? where it connects to the extension housing? I don't think im gonna replace mine, i'm just gonna load the shifter, bushing and sleve with grease and it should work for a little while, then i'll buy the marlin crawler bushings, sounds like a good investment.
well the marlin crawler bushings are made of a much more Heavy duty material that doesn't degrade like the stock bushings. The problem with a metal bushing would be that there would be alot of noise coming from the shifter, it would have a super high pitched whine when driving, basically it...
Awesome, THANKS! i hope it works.... my shifter seat is the green truck bushing or whatever... would getting the marlin bushing tighten up the shifter even more than the green truck shifter bushing?
This is my exhaust now. The Magnaflow resonator takes all the raspiness out of it, i think it sounds really good.

I would still like to see someone elses shift fork with the bearing i got with my SPEC kit. I don't know if it would be ok to reuse my Old throwout bearing and shift fork. The bearing is still super smoother and should work just fine, I wasn't sure if there was anything really different with...
ok. does the part where the shifter go need to be replaced. I've been having problems where the little rubber nylon bushing that goes on the tip of the shifter disenegrates after 2-3 weeks. Not sure if it's the gear oil i was using, 75w90 synthetic, or if it's that busing at the end of the...
BUMP! doesn't anyone know why the heck they'de send the wrong throwout?!? Isn't there anyone who has bought a clutch kit for their non turbo and got this same bearing? what did u do?!?
I was looking around and i found my original shift fork, but not throwout bearing. Here's some pics... Also can u tell me a couple things about why the shift lever in the transmission, looks banged up... Look at the pic of the transmission. Also can u tell that there are 2 washers missing...
ok. Do u have any input? about your knowledge of shift forks and bearings in different years? I checked with toyota and i went and got the part numbers from the catalog, and it doesn't Look like the same "new" throwout bearing i got, It looks like the older style throwout bearing. I need the...
I'm confused since i think my shift fork is from a different year, possibly a pre 89? I have the old throwout bearing that snaps on to the old shift fork, But this new throw out bearing i got with my new SPEC clutch, doesn't work with my shift fork. Does anyone know anything about the...
do you have a light weight flywheel or something? the revs seem to drop real quick after u rev, faster than normal. Maybe the mk2's have lighter flywheels than the mk3.
