Will it fit? I guess, if you take it to a body shop and have them do something with it. Or get a MKIV style from some kombat karate kit company.
Will it look good? Absolutely not. No way. Do not pass go. Do not collect 200 dollars. Negatron.
Err, I think you just have pre89 tails for all years but the moulding under the middle section is updated 89+ style. If you got the updated mouldings, it should be the same all the way around including the taillight piece.
But I'm not an expert on euro Supra models/trims/options so don't...
Just don't cut corners getting it running. Being new to the car, you may get a negative sour taste for the car if you have alot of problems before you get a chance to enjoy positive properly running Supra ownership.
Good luck. :)
Well not having it and leaving it dangling to pull a very cold ambient temp are two different things. Had he removed it completely, his end results would probably be different.
Probably every 1J swapped US car does not have the sensor. I've never seen one. Never even heard of it. Just a guess.
No worries. Just thought you may engine driving the car with less issues than working on it while it sits in your driveway/garage.
There's alot to be learned from taking a non running car and making a running car. I just wouldn't want to do it being a n00b to the platform. (not saying...
Yes. A very good upgrade, I would say.
pre-89 mouldings look poopy. If you're gonna bother with your mouldings, upgrade to 89+ ones if you decide to rattle can or not.
I would just get the mouldings painted by a body shop instead of rattle canning them.
Or buy a set of black mouldings. That would look better. There's a set or two on ebay right now.
