It's an idiotic and pointless arguement. If you're cooling the exhaust before it enters the turbine, you're going to loose velocity through and induce lag because of the extra piping (hence why rear mount turbos suck). Removal of the heat reduces the pressure and lowers velocity. Heat = energy

Good luck. The pre-89 trim is metal backed and rusts. It also gets bent to hell on removal and is no longer made. The section under the license plate isn't replacable (well, it is, but you'd have to cut it off and glue on the other)

Well, the braces bolt on, but I don't know if the holes and threads are there for them...

superbrightleds is a bit expensive for those, can get em cheaper if you know where to look (hint: buy in bulk and from the same lot and they all match)

I'd have to take a look at the stock fogs (my bro has a MKII) and see what I can do. If I could find a clear glass lense without the flutes I could probably make them functional for headlights :)

I wouldn't suggest driving at night, the optics on the fogs aren't designed for headlight use at all regardless of the light source put in them.

Hatch doesn't weigh much, it's the glass that weighs a ton...

XXR has the same certifications and makes OEM wheels as well (you'd know that if you read the thread).

They're talking about the direct knockoff wheels from china that are marked as some higher end wheel, NOT XXR wheels...
