Notice how you can actually see the intercooler with this bumper as opposed to the pre89's.

I really don't think it's that much of a difference as far as airflow. Actually, i think the intercooler is getting more airflow now that the new bumper is in there. The only thing that is really in the way is the license plate.

I actually wanted the full conversion including the turn signals and grills and after realizing that i would have to struggle a bit to make it work, so i slapped on the old ones and it actually made the car look different. I'll take some pics during the daytime because i don't have any right now.

Since nobody really seems to know what will happen at certain boost levels for the 7m motors, it's better to have a backup just in case. If everybody would just be more agressive i think we would find out how much a stock motor would really handle and therefor illiminating the need for backup...

I didn't want to struggle with the 89+ turn signals so i just put in the 87 turn signals and trimed the 89+ grills. I'll post a pic later so u can see what i mean.

2 years on 12 psi. Stock HG, fuel pump, injectors. Heck even the stock paper filter. Only other mod was a 3" turboback. Now i'm at .9 bar. Still no BHG. I'm waiting on it patiently, so i can go ahead and put in my other motor.

most toyota starters use the same brushes. When i had to change mine i grab some from another toyota starter and swapped them. It's not that hard to do, and it takes less than 5mins after u take off the starter. It was free for me, since i work at a garage with plenty of little things like that...

PorteszSupra - i have a turbo block, and also have the non turbo pistons and connecting rods. Do you think the motor will last with 25 lbs of boost? If so, i'm seriously want to put it together for the future.
