What does it mean if u grab a hold of the pulley. One hand on top and one on bottom and there's a little wobble to it... Also the pulley can be turned in either direction 5*... How do u get the bolt to 195 ft lbs? Do u have the special toyota SST? i know super soft nylon rope down the spark...

turning it counter clockwise it would have 5 degrees of play but clockwise there was no play. Before there was no play in either direction...

When we were putting it in time, the crank had 5* of play in it before the cam gears would start turning... what's that all about?

I'll take some pics after i pull the pulley off to pull the new one on... What would it mean if the key way was worn? and if the key was damaged?

ok well i found out that the pulley i thought was brand new had less than 40k on it for $80... Should i risk it? or just get a brand spankin new one from the dealer or something? I think they are about $320!!!

ok well that clears it up. I'll just get a brand new factory crank pulley. I've heard lots of bad things about underdrive crank pulley's as they don't have a damper so it'll vibrate more? and cause engine problems? So why do ppl say they gain power and gas milage and the engine is alot...

I know how to properly operate a standard transmission. Is there anyway i could just easily hook some gauge up to insantly tell me that there's a leak somewhere? That sounds like a very likely cause. That 50mph in 5th on a slight incline is a bad description of the problem. Just accelerating...

Ok, so we got it started... found out it was out of time and so we put it in time, and it starts and it's running at 10* BTDC. The problem was that we got the #5 injector connector on the #6 injector and the #6 injector connector on the #5 injector. So it's running now and it doesn't overheat...

It doesn't backfire. Do the fuel injectors have to be in order? Do each fuel injector a designation Number? Like a Specific #1 fuel injector?
