Check the connection to the AFM. Also pull some codes because thats going to tell you right off the bat what the problem is. Go to this site, and it will tell you how to do so.

Yea...I took it all off. I couldnt get at the bolt from underneath, neither could anyone I had over. So whats the problem with doing a bit of work? I learned some stuff, and got the damn thing off, and thats really all that matters to me.
Check for codes, and could you be more descriptive about the idle issue. It's possible the problem could be replated to worn plugs and wires. Before anything else however, check for codes.
