Made it to CO Safe and Sound....

'nother 7M -- picked up a shortblock with only about 70k on it a few weeks ago for free. Besides...I don't like the sound of the 1J's let alone not understanding the hype about 'em....and a 2J is just too damn expensive to throw in...LOL!

Made it to CO Safe and Sound....

Yeah, I actually thought about trying to push it all the way from Vegas to here....stopping every half-hour to pour oil back in it...LOL! Luckily, my Grandma and Uncle talked me out of that nonsense....would've sucked to have that motor blow a hole in the side of the block in the middle of...

Made it to CO Safe and Sound....

....Without my Supra -- It only made it as far as Vegas. Cliffs version: something let go somewhere at the front of the motor (gasket, seal...something), started pissing oil...limped it to Vegas from Baker, and by the time I got it to Vegas, it had the dreaded Rod Knock....I think the only...

    Front End Clunk and Clank

Haven't really gotten a good look at the suspension on these cars yet, but I had a problem like that with my truck. On that vehicle, there's a 'dog bone' that runs along the frame rail between the mounting points where the upper control arm meets the frame. There's two studs that that dog bone...

somebody please shoot this supra owner

IMO -- Get rid of the Ghey-ass paint job, clean the motor up/drop in a GTE.....wouldn't be too bad. Whoever did the body work actually did a pretty good job molding that shit in. I almost bought a Mk3 a few years ago, was down in the San Diego area (Vista) -- had a front bumper and rear lights...

    Help me find this...

I bought said knock-offs.....the fiberglass ones. They even came from overseas (paid a grip in shipping because of that...*grumble*) Fitment was garbage, too wide at the mount points -- we're talking a good 1/8-1/4" gap when one side is screwed to the headlight assembly. I'm sure someone with...
