As you could get a non-supercharged (or later, turbocharged) SS and it had that TERRIBLE ricer wing, I'm gonna say Neon wins this one.
Not a fan of either one really. The Neon can look pretty good, but it's still a stupid Neon...
If you buy a stock bumper cover, it doesn't have the holes in it. The threaded spots are in the support behind the bumper cover though. Personally, I'd either not worry about it until you get pulled over for it, or fabricate (or buy) a relocation plate that bolts to the existing bolts around...
Looks pretty clean too. I found an uber early one locally that was just sitting in someone's yard getting eaten by weeds and sinking into the ground. Tried to buy it for some of the parts on it, but they weren't really interested. Last I knew it got hauled off for scrap :(
Normal cheap gear oil as you'll be replacing it very soon. The important part is to heat cycle and wear both sides of the gears (just like breaking in a diff).
Though, this depends a hell of a lot on what was actually done on the rebuild. If none of the gears were replaced, there's nothing to...
