There's always that little (or big) something that happens. I honestly don't see myself owning one single car for over 20 years. It just shows your patience with the vehicle, not to mention you've saved hundreds of thousands by keeping the same car this entire time too...

I was thinking they were fairly close... IIRC around '91 or '92 the cost of the supra was around 30K, your price makes sense compared to the changes that were made, and possible inflation over the 4-5 years.

Yes, a little larger would be great to compensate for material taken off the head and block during prep. Can probe give you a good estimate of the compression if the dome was -18.75 or -19?

I would prefer the 1.2/1.2/3.0 John. Anyone got a file saved on the skirt lengths of these pistons since the suppliers conveniently do not disclose this info. Thicker piston rings FTW!

Yes, always check to any grounds still attached to the chasis right before you think you're ready to pull it out. Take lots of picures so you don't forget where something goes!
