iirc the most I ever pulled was 15% to try for mid 12 afr. I have found some info where I mostly pulled 9% when tuning for a low 11 afr. I too was able to find a timing problem, miss adjusted CPS, with high egt's.

I use mine for evaluation. With my SAFR installed I noticed EGT rise, in higher rpm, to ~1550°-1600°F. When I removed the SAFR and installed the Rebic LC, controls injector duration, EGT remained ~1450°-1475°F in higher rpm. My probe is pre-turbo in the collector. edit...

I don't see VF1 on that diagram but this is the 5v signal I tapped for my zeitronix to monitor VF

One comes with the Actron Fuel Pressure Tester Kit CP7838 http://www.actron.com/product_detail.php?pid=16173 Replace your CSI bolt with it and leave it. Might want to get a cap for it. I just used a vacuum tube cap.
