The main issue is that while the Supras were based off the Celica, there are a very different car chassis wise. My point about the GM F-bodies was that a TA/Firebird =/= Camaro and they share more in common than a Celica and a Celica Supra.
Though I've always wondered why they didn't use the...
Yes, they designated it Celica Supra.
You seem to be missing the fact it's called a Supra still. One could sa it's like calling a Trans-Am a Firebird or a Camaro, they're the same chassis, right? Oh, wait, the chassis is labeled different on the Supras compared to the Celicas.
Thanks for...
All our cars came with power antennas. If you have anything other than a power antenna, it was replaced.
Last I knew the NA one wasn't available, leaving on the one for the 3 piece wing available. It works fine, it's just extended to fit through the grommet on winglet.
...and yet having the same attitude that MKIV owners have about MKIII's not being "real" supras is asinine.
Anyway, carry on with your bickering, gives me something to do later
Sorry, but even Toyota disagrees with you as their 15th anniversary model obviously includes the earlier Supras. Why they only include the MKII is up to debate.
See above.
Oh look, this fits PERFECTLY:
Shotguns have to be aimed, don't kid yourself. The main advantage of shotguns is low penetration (i.e. won't shoot someone in the other room through the wall, or in the next house over), high damage, and low price of ownership.
Sure, you can mess with it, but I don't see you getting any real gains out of it. Doing any modifications to the system would requires dyno time to confirm it's functioning properly and not hurting performance.
Bad battery, and the relay mod doesn't do anything.
Doing a draw test requires a decent multimeter and it absolutely HAS to be fused or it can burn the multimeter out. Acceptable draw depends on a lot of things, but it's not hard to track down (pull fuses until it goes away).
God I hope it's not a V6. I have an extreme hatred of V6's. They're poor designs all the way through and the only reason to ever use one is for packaging requirements.
Laugh all you want, doesn't change the fact that they're wrong. On an NA it's going to do nothing, on a turbo car pushing higher numbers, the difference is very apparent. Just like crush bent piping compared to mandrel bent (and exhaust shops will tell you there's no difference).
