Several quirks about my car aswell... Alot of the interior screws are missing. One of the valve covers was cracked and epoxied back together. The CAS cover is cracked and glued all back together. Theres a radiator from an automatic car in there. *Mines 5 spd* The odometer was rolled back a good...

I would buy some struts if there weren't so many other things on my car that I needed...

You can check to see if it is bad easily enough. Just pull one end of it out, and simply blow through it. If you can blow through it easily, then yes, its dead. There easy/cheap enough to pick up used!

Theres a possibility the flange weld is not very good? and leaks from there? Check to make sure the whole hard pipe assembly is sealed up good!
