why dont people just get a harness extension from amazon.

I had a similar thing. when i was cleaning the car some water leaked into the ECU and it did just that. so the problem is definitely from the ECU.

what about covering the whole taillight. and instead of cutting the light part, make the material color on that spot a little lighter. Just an opinion.
