I just let my car idle down my street from the main road. It's about half a mile and takes a minute or so. By the time I get the garage door opened and the car inside, it's been enough time to let the turbo cool off.
Yeah, and I just repainted my whole car. I don't have a garage, so painting on my own is out, and spending $300 for a lip + paint is retarded. Thanks though.

I would like to put a new lip on my car, but don't really like the look of CF. Is there any alternative materials the lip could be made from? I would like a flat black, somewhat like the original.
It only happened on hot days, to the point where the car would not keep running after it was warm. It has not happened since, and it has been 95+ degrees outside. I don't think it was a coincidence.
Not true. My car was a little low on coolant and was stalling out on me when I stopped moving. After getting the coolant back to where it should be, I haven't had a problem yet.
