That makes sense to me. This is my first time putting in a 5-speed, and I didn't remove the one from the old car so I'm trying to figure it out on my own with the TSRM as much as possible. I hate bugging the gurus with simple questions.
The TSRM shows the clutch going both ways on the R154:

I doubt it. I think the last 2 gallons are probably used to cool the fuel pump and probably will be picked up, even though it's hard on your fuel system. Be smart and fill...
