Do you have any other supporting mods? I don't think you'll hurt anything if you put a 57 trim in and leave it at stock boost levels, but it would be best to have an upgraded fuel system, intake, and a good flowing exhaust.

The swap is going to end up costing me around $1500, but that's with having the transmission repaired/rebuilt so I know everything is good.

Is there anyway to do that on the software side? I'm on some other forums that automatically change quoted pictures to thumbnailed sizes.

The stock transmission will not last above 300 horsepower without some serious modifications. There's at least two threads on Supraforums with detailed information. I'm pretty much where you are with mods and I blew my second automatic within 12 months. I'm almost finished with the manual...

No, I'm realistic about the fact that cars depreciate, and the money you put into them will never come back out again. I also save every receipt and would never take the first offer. It's the adjuster's job to pay you as little as the insurance company can. It's your job to produce receipts...

Another 92 with shadow grey/black leather reporting in. Almost finished with the transmission swap, got the pedals in and a new e-brake and shift boot cover. She definitely could use a cleaning!

Oh! I just remembered, does anyone know what size the crank pulley bolt is? Is that the easiest way to turn the motor to do the pressure plate to flywheel bolts?

Thanks for the information guys. I'm ready to get this crap finished. This has been a swap I've wanted to do for over 3 years, and now that I'm so close I'm trying to make myself be patient and not cut corners.

I've got all the guides, the TSRM, and most of my parts. I am just about ready to get the transmission in the car, but I'm having a bit of trouble getting the proper clutch hard line. I ordered one from Toyota (and they forgot the lower hard line too) and it just doesn't seem to fit properly...

It could also be a broken wire in the boot that goes from the body to the door. It's a bitch to fix those wires, too.
