Its all about the time and effort put into it. I really don't think they will give you the same light spread as a set of pop-up's.
Hell,I just turn off my headlights and use my Hella driving lights anyways!!!
Depending on your smog laws, the entire exhaust can be replaced, from the turbo downpipe to the tip of the muffler. The best size for the exhaust would be 3 inches all the way back. I'm a big fan of mandrel bending, and I think its the best.
Getting rid of the stock air filter system will increase...
anything worth a crap is gonna take effort unless you dump a load of cash into a pristine one. if you get it,you'll be taking everything apart, and learning about your car. The paint has no effect on how the car runs. Check the motor, check for leaks, but if you plan on replacing the motor,screw...
i took mine off as soon as i got my car.
it's pretty much designed to absorb engine noise more than anything.
burn? hell yes, with the right chemicals...and lighter...
i had a similar rattle sound coming from my exhaust, only sounded when it was initialy warmming and went away as the exhaust pipe got hot.I checked all the shields, and they were tight. Turned out the converter honeycomb(yea, yea, yea!) was coming apart INSIDE its casing. Check wid a ball peene hammer.
Does anyone have any info on a "rumored" replacement exhaust manifold from this company? I think it might look like stock, but be port matched and all that good stuff.
Is there a difference in the primary cat and the secondary? I have a Lipp turbo elbow, and it's a full 3 inches, and the OG cat inlet is smaller.I have ordered the Lipp 3 inch flange, and plan on using a 3 inch cat.Custom!!:biglaugh:
