Pretty common for the EGR to clog and burn a valve from doing so on those engines. As much as I hate those damn cars (most uncomfortable seats ever), the suspension is actually pretty damn nice and then can be thrown through corners far quicker than people expect :)

Yes, the access panel for the power antenna (though it sucks for accessing the antenna anyway) and I don't think there's any change between RHD/LHD on that part other than the cable is probably longer on the LHD.
He had a leak, more than likely displacing the gasket. Overtightening in that spot would cause it to crack quite easily. Cause sounds pretty clear (i.e. what did he do? :rofl: )
Yep. The ignition and fuel could be completely off and it would still damage it if it's reved too high. It also means you lose your man card because you suck at driving :rofl:
IIRC they won't interchange at all because the flanges are at different angles (it's obvious if you try it). That is if you have one from a GE and GTE. They did revise the injector over the years though...

Well, hard to really tell. I assume it's stuck to a piece of masking tape to get some sort of scale to how big it is, so it's really pretty small. It appears to be metal, and from a cast part. Thinking maybe a piece of the block from somewhere?

Years ago when you could buy the entire front clip for relatively cheap (often with JDM aftermarket goodies on it) the 1JZ was a smart swap. Now, hell no. If you're going to swap, go 2JZ. If not, build the 7M.
Everything listed as being "bad" about 7M's are just from age, and the 1JZ's have...
