did alitlle testing today, i wanted to let the car fully warm up and let the ecu learn more since i always have the battery unpluged.
once cold start was done and rpms went down to 750 rpm's the A/f's were still around 12.5 to 13.0, after it was idleing for about 15min the A/F's started to...
what????/ thats were the belong, lol
it seemed to rev fine to me, were you trying to go above 4k. idle seemed to be kinda low, most are around 700 rpm's.
you can get a noid test light auto zone lends it for free, they just hold $30) to make sure your injectors are getting volts, if that test good then you can go to the next thing.
now to test your fuel pump and make sure it is realy working, i had fuel to the rail without the pump even pluged...
that sounds like the map sensor then, when you pull the plug on the map your engine will die or idle like total crap.
check the volts on it just to be sure! the green wire is signal to.
when i start it cold, it does not stumble or stall when i touch the gas, untill it is up to temp.
it would be nice to get my hands on an ecu, but there are none that i know of in my area.
ill try that out, i was also thinking i could put some jb weld after i get them all straight. only need it to hold up for 6 month of short drives to work, 10min drive at most.
just finished the 1jz swap and after i started the car i can see it dripping from the bottom, drianed it and left the cap on so i could hear were its leaking from, heard it at the top left side of the radiator was smashed in alittle on the vents. i am using the hydro fan as well
can this be...
