Thanks Grim, I'll do some checking on this over the weekend and post my findings. Got me feeling a little better thinking it's not rod knock. My oil is clean and there are no metalic shavings in the oil so it was trying to figure out what it could be. Anyway, thanks again Grim.
Loose flex plate as to the crank or the converter? Would loading the engine i.e. in gear stopped or accelerating cause it to quiet down a good bit?
Had an Isuzu pickup years ago that i had to adjust the valves on. it was more of a clicking noise than a knock. Different valve train design...
Grim, only thing belt driven is the water pump and alt. I have removed the power steering and A/C from the car. I also have solid motor mounts which I forgot to mention. Some back ground on the engine, bought a running donor car for my turbo swap that had "rod knock" turned out to be a broken...

I tried to link my xbox and pc together but i could not get it to work right or at all for that matter. i followed the instructions but i guess i was doing something wrong. We have a good laptop. i bought it for gaming and we used to play WOW on it but we stopped playing that also.

Yes it's fun to drive. Still have bugs in it since the turbo swap that money was holding me back from fixing but still nice to ride on a nice back road on a good day to clear your head.
Sweet!! I will look in to that. I don't have cable either so i will talk to my boss at home about this. You can watch ANYTHING on it? any TV show made you can just search for it and watch it?
