I dont remember where i heard this but i think its safe to say that it would apply to most manifold studs....
Its like when you bend a paper clip back and fourth. Eventually it breaks. I've heard that if studs have been torqued down to much or too many times they stretch and loose strength...
Going single......Im assuming it would be a good idea to replace the old manifold studs. Any recommendations? Does arp offer anything or just order new oem?

got a few pics.. Maybe these will help evaluate what there worth? I tried to depress each strut by putting all my body weight on them but they wont budge.... If a strut was wouldn't it be easy to depress the dampener? There definitely not seized though. All the bushings are in the same condition...
