I have seen a Koyo just fit 1/4 to 1/2in clearance with a MKIV fan. I think the PWR is a thicker core and will give you some issues.

LOL thats a very good idea. If its boosting to 20si that fast with no vac line then the turbo is working fine and its a pressure loss or blocked exhaust. You ruled out the exhaust so it must be somthing in the intake leaking.

I think its missing a Clutch though and is using a TC in its place as well as only 3 speeds. That dose not make it a manual tranny if all he is doing is hitting the shifter to select the next gear :icon_razz

Nice I'm jammed in SM class so I have some heavy comp. Just getting the car sorted out for next year. Hope to get the engine sorted and tuned then 265's or 275's all round. Kind of looking forward to getting back out next year.
Fix one thing at a time, leave the boost controler off till you fix the real problem. Once you have a solid 13psi and the slow spool sorted out then look at getting the boost controler on and sorted.
The way the boost is reacting, slow spool, boost spike and then drop off. It keeps leading...
Have you checked the inlet from the turbo to the intercooler to make sure you did not forget a rag in the pipe. It would now be in the end take and maybe blocking a good chunk of the core. Maybe worth a check I have seen it happen before.
I have worked on them in the past and will tell you there a bitch!!! If a turbo goes out comes the engine. Need to change a valve cover on a turbo out comes the engine. The book time for a turbo re & re is somthing like 28 hours, so if you do not do your own work......well your screwed.

Looks good, those will help I'm sure. It also looks like you just need more seat time to figure out the car if you are running mid 13's and 120+ mph.
I have done 12.2 @119mph with 235/40 18 Kumho SPT's a few times. Was only able to get a 1.9 60' though, I'm sure those new tires of yours will...

First did you install the seat ring? With out that you will not build boost and it will leak like that.
Now what part of the WG is spinning? is it the very top vac fitting or the entire upper diaphram housing?
He has the 2jz version of Windows Vista, it keeps giving him the blue screen of smoke from cylinders 1 and 6 :biglaugh:. I believe it was narrowed down to a component not cooperating with his operating system :sarcasm:.
