Check TPS, CPS and crank angle sensor wiring and then make sure the TPS is set up following the TSRM. I would also make sure the MAP sensor is working right.

I have or will have (I have all the parts) a MKIV pump feeding a suge tank with 2x Bosch 044's feeding fuel up to my 880cc inj. Fuel is one thing you do not want to be short of.

I installed my HKS cams per the TSRM and cant say if I had any increase in noise just from the cams. I also did Forged CP pistons at the same time and that added to the nose the engine makes as well.
If BC has cam specs for there cams I would follow them.
Jeremy
You would do all that work for nothing, I can almost certanly say its not the 2jz bottom. You did a compresion check and it was fine, you have somthing else going on.

I had my car all loaded on the trailer Saturday but blew a mufler bearing on the tow rig. The car then pissed its oil all out in simpathy of the trucks loss.

p.s. BS aside good luck guys and be safe.
You are looking at running a $9K motor with a entry level system? Why are you cheaping out on the most importand part of the package?
If you have spent all the $$ on the engine atleast spend money on a decent EMS. I would be looking at nothing less than Motec or Autronic for that with...
Ok now that test there just put a shadow of doupt on the turbo theory. If the turbo was damaged it would not spool up notisably faster.
Damn damn damn......ok I would still try another turbo but honestly I'm at a loss. I think trying another turbo will if anything check somthing else off the...
Its been doing since he blew up his first 2jz block. With a engine failer you never know what goes though them. A pice of metal may have gone into the turbine housing and taken the tips off the turbine wheel (the pictures of the turbine were not very clear) the inducer fins on the turbine wheel...
Cant belive I missed this, great job!! That front bumper is perfect!!! Best one I have seen on a MKIII.
To dial in more rear camber look up A-1 racing, they make rear controle arms with much more adjustability. My car is a bit lower and I can get a max of -6deg with them. Looks like that...
:icon_conf Big turbo cappable of flowing 80-85lb/min, fuel inj, pump, ignition (hks dli), clutch......the list goes on.
In all honesty and not directed solely at you but you need to search. There are 2 other threads just like this on the very first page of this section. You need to plan on...
That turbo should not be anywere near its limit. Usally when you get to the turbos limit it will just blow hot air and lot make any more power the boost will not fall off. The only way I can see this being a turbo related issue is if the turbo is some how damaged (I know we have checked this...
You really need to research/search, the 2jz-gte is one if not the best engine for big power in stock form period. There are many cars running much more power than you want with the stock engine meaning there has been nothing done inside the engine.
The bottom end is very strong, the top end...
Jay can you do a test for me? I want you to hook up your boost gauge to the vac niple on the turbo and go for a drive. If you have 2nd guage to test with then I would use that. I want to see if you are really losing boost or if you have a leak on the vac line that goes to the guage and EMS...
