Don't you have to pay court costs regardless of whether or not you show up? When I got my ticket (In STL) I know I had to pay court charges and I just paid the damn ticket (would have been $100 or so in gas just to get there anyway). Don't just pay the ticket though, show up to court. You...
Is your neutral safety switch hooked up (or jumped?) ? That little button thing on the clutch pedal hooked up? Also try rocking the key back and forth from off to start fairly quickly, I had to do this w/ my mkIII after it had set awhile (when I got it). Thats really all I can think of. HTH.
I was expecting a "yay... got my car back from the shop... damn BHG"...
O-well... I don't give advice anymore. Not after last time... *insert family guy flashback*
I used that vinyl paint on all of my hard plastic peices and it turned out really nice. I also dyed my carpet... why is that a bad idea? No probs with it, just shampoo it or something before you get caught out in the rain with your new K-swiss's. :icon_bigg The paint is really easy to use...
As far as putting the clutch pedal on it can be rather tricky. What i did when I did a swap was "test fit" everything to where it would go and then took a really long bolt and pushed it through the clutch pedal hanger and hit it with a hammer to make an indentation. Then I drilled that out w/...
first thing I thought when I seen the "(UTI)?" was ouch... but I was thinking Urinary Tract Infection....
I hear good things about UTI, soon as I'm done with this silly rad tech crapp I'm gonna enroll there or somewhere similar. Good luck.
I was just gonna say watch out for the spark plugs. If any water gets down under the boot the car will miss and you'll spend the next 30 mins taking the plugs out to let the water get out of there. It's a real PITA, lemme tell ya.
A hose works just as good as a Power washer, only time I...
You would be surprised how far out of time the motor will run on. After doing my first head job on a mkII a buddy and me set the timing like we normally would and went on our way. Turns out you have to do it a "special" way (not the same as mkIII's) and it worked fine. We had a lot of popping...
Geez, I'll be stoked if I get more than $200 back. Man, that would be sweet. Get these damn DSM wheels off the mkIII since I'll be able to afford some 225's for the blades.
I was meaning more towards just getting another and switching everything over. This would be my choice of how to go about it, but I'm a wuss like that. Something about rodknock and rebuilds...
U wont catch my ass under the car trying to do a bottom end rebuild... or pulling the subframe for that matter. Sounds like too much work. I'm deff man enough to do it, just let me know what you want to do. IE- rebuild that motor or go JDM. I'll give ya a call here in a bit.
