    Ehh.. good point, although when you have to rip it all back apart it's gonna cost more than it originally would have, sadly :( But I hear ya on wantin to get stuff together :) No one likes a "parked" supra :(

    Oil pump shimming

    on the topic of shimming the pump, it's definitely worth the time and effort to get some more oil pressure to our poor starved motors :P

    I would assume it'd depend on the turbo... are you talking CT-26? or an upgraded version or?

    How did you replace your injectors?

    Put mine in with the upper plenum removed, popped the fuel rail out.. sucks either way really lol, I didn't think it could be done unless you have a small handed brother/sister hangin around :P

    Head Gasket thickness selection

    Yeah i'd love to know when a head is considered unusable.. I have 3 of them that have come off of BHG cars, and they've all been resurfaced before. I'd much rather not use one that's gonna cause me MORE headaches lol..

    Let us know what happens with the mechanic.. and for my own knowledge, when using a MHG you're supposed to have the block deck prepped correct? (obviously along with the timing backing plate)

    If you don't mind let me/us know the part number so I don't have to call and deal with my local toyota moron... err. mechanic.. who told me that the supra never came with piston oil squirters.. please save me from that again lol..

    sounds like an ignition switch issue to me.. Have you tried jumping the starter manually when it's not starting with the key?
