    well, either way the crank will be balanced, so will that help at redline? sorry for the stupid questions but i defintiely didnt plan on finding a 6m crank in my jdm motor

    well, i finished tearing my jdm motor apart and guess what i found? A 6m crank in my 7mgte! The whole bottom end had been rebuilt, except for the pistons. The rods were peened, bearings replaced, new oil pump, and a 6m crank. Im guessing that my jdm motor wasnt daily driven by its original...

    well, we started disassembling the motor tonight but didnt get very far, because the shop was closed, but i got the accessories removed and the timing belt covers taken off. I will post more pictures tomorrow night. btw, is the oil shown on the turbo normal?

    my pistons were 600 and i think that the rods were just under 500, but i dont know where they came from, the shop ordered them. i know that the pistons had to come from wiseco. anyways the pistons came molycoated with rings and pins and the rods came with arp, so not too bad i dont think...

    my goals for now(because of a limited budget) is nothing much more than stock, but i will have this car for the rest of my life so, with that being said, im never satisfied with having enough power. Eventually i would like to see 700 @the wheels, so i want to have a good platform to do that...
