They need rebuilds anyway so it all depends. Make one mod to those old motors and the HG is gone. The only benefit is you can rebuild the jdm motor and still drive your car.

lol. gas mileage gets worse of course. but its not that much different if you keep off the throttle. If you're full throttle a lot you're going to notice it big time. When i did all these mods i found myself flooring it all the time just to hear the turbo and bov. so be prepared!

you'll want a cooleze or BIC downpipe or high flow elbow. the rest can be made at an exhaust shop. Bolt on systems name brand are expen$ive. You can get hardpipes made up but Id suggest cooleze pipes or another high quality brand. You can beat the fitment. Cooleeze dp is in the $300 us range...
