The scrunci has been around the shifter in every car (daily driver) I have owned in the last 7 years. So when i traded in my old caddy it just got transferred into this one. Driving in winter, dont know yet, I just had Blazzak's (winter tires) taken off and summer tires are now on. I will...
Here are a couple of pics. I know, looks like every other 04 CTS-V but this one is mine :) LS6 400HP, 6 speed, nav, roof, leather, Not it just needs some tint.
Had to make room for the new caddy. The supra and 7m engine might get jealous sharing the garage :( o-well, LOL CTS-V...
I like the idea of using a differnt coolant tank from a Camry or other Toyota. I would like to keep a OEM look, and also might be able to use the low coolant sensor. Any one have a older toyota that could post a pic of the size of the coolant tank?
Here is a couple of pic. The top of the...
New and shim. That is what i did for my rebuild. New oem pump from Toyota ($189 :) )and installed Alum. 7mm shim I made on the lathe. I read about supra owners on here using 5mm all the way to 10mm. So i went in the middle of them and went with 7mm;)
good Luck
Maybe with more cutting, but the bottom is skinner then the face and is just wide enough to fit. There is bracing on the back side and the dimmer switch witch it JUST cleared. Also the back of the controller already hits the heater duct.
I just worry about the the vac. line going to the...

the passenger seat?? more ware then the drivers, maybe worth getting the leather replaced Since the car dose have LOW miles
Vary nice!
^^ I like but my battery is still in stock location. Also have FFIM
Side note there is about 5" from top of intercooler to my hood. Also with a aftermarket coolant tank what/how do you mount the sensor for "low coolant" (bird cage)
Well I got my intercooler mounted and well guess what, over flow tank dosent fit. ( im guessing like others out there with larger intercooler) Please post pic. of what/where you mounted the over flow tank. Custom tank? :1zhelp:
I think it will be a little, but with SOGI mod. done to shifter i hope it will be fine.:sarcasm: In all reality you dont touch the screen much. Eveything can also be controlled from the side of the head unit or screen. When entering a new address for the Nav. that is all touch screen. So it...
K thank you, I am trying to find the best place for my sensor that dosent require a "sandwitch plate". I thought of drilling and taping into the oil pan but but want to keep the 7m looking as oem as possable.
Any other ideas on placment of oil temp. sensor?
Rob
Maybe i have a one of a kind block. LOL, jk . Well the plug i removed from that spot is a 1/8 npt plug and the sensor screws right in, is this a oil passage?
There is a plug (1/8 npt) next to the oil drain from the turbo, would this be a good spot for my oil temp sensor? I have no idea what would go there. Sorry about the pic but i can't fint the dig camera so i just used my phone.
Thank you for info.
