just be prepared that you might have to have the pulley shaft on your 2j pump machined...I had to have that done when I swapped mine so that all the pulleys lined up.
From what I have read from doing research is you can take a piece of hose from the inlet to the outlet on the hydrofan but eventually your pump will just burn up as there wont be sufficient cooling of the pump.
I will probably end up just getting a stock one just cause I dont have the time to wait for shipping and such from driftmotion or some other business with aluminum since the supra is my only vehicle.
I plan on going electric because of the climate where I live not being overly hot. I think we've only really had 5 days of really hot weather this summer. Can I just use a stock waterpump pulley from a 2JZ?
I have done research and have noticed that the waterpump on a 2JZGTE is a direct bolt on replacement to the hydrofan on a 1JZ and then you have to run either e-fans or a clutch fan. Can someone verify that the 2JZ pump will bolt onto my 1JZ for me because once I buy the pump Toyota wont let me...
My hydrofan pump is toast so I am going to go with a e-fan conversion in my jza70 since a new hydrofan from japan is ridiculously priced. I am curious as to what fans people are running in their vehicles and maybe some pros and cons. Also I did some research and I read about using a relay off...
i used a paperclip and jumpered E1 and TE1 and my check engine light went ... BLINK pause BLINK BLINK BLINK. I have tried searching for what the different codes are and was not able to find much so if anyone can tell me what this is that would be amazing!
I just installed my HKS Turbo Timer type-0 and it turns on and counts down but when i turn off my ignition the engine turns off but the timer still counts down. What did I do wrong?
sounds good to me. i have only bought a few things over the forum using paypal so you'll have to tell me how money orders work but other than that i dont see any problem doing one. Thanks a bunch.
As stated in the title I am in need of a pulley for my power steering pump. Does anyone know the part number for this part or a replacement that will work? Thanks.
